Four Ways Of Looking Younger And Staying Healthy

Health has become a major issue in our environment today; obesity and malnutrition has been increasing in numbers. A typical busy man in this modern era has an uneven and unhealthy lifestyle without knowing that he is living his life on the edge. Being healthy can guarantee you that you can live a long and a blessed life.

Why is health so important? Unhealthy persons are blunt in their workplace; you cannot bring out the best in you if you are stressed out and unhealthy. Fit persons are always sharp; they are healthy in mind and body. Aside from this, living healthy can make you feel younger and look nicer.

Eating the right foods and vitamins plus an accustomed exercise would result into having beautiful skin and an astonishing body. Some women can deceive us with their age because they lead a healthy lifestyle. We would presume their age to be around their 20s when in truth they are at their 40s. So here are some tips on how to look younger and how to live a healthy life.

• Avoid vices such as smoking cigarettes. Smoking is very hazardous to health; it takes 5 to 20 minutes of a smoker's lifespan every time a smoker lights up a cigarette. Smoking leads smokers to health problems such as lung cancer, stroke, heart disease, bladder cancer and emphysema. And apart from those health problems, smokers have less bone density and are more at risk to illnesses compared to the non smoker.

Aside from that, you look less attractive if you're a big time smoker. Smoking can cause bad skin; it stops blood vessels and obstructs nutrients and oxygen from getting to the skin. Smoking also causes bad breath and your clothes and hair would smell bad. For the smokers, think about it before lighting another stick of cigarette.

• Sleep seven to eight hours a day. Lack of sleep significantly affects our development, immune system and nervous system. Our immune system can be affected easily if we lack rest; our body becomes vulnerable to infections and diseases. For children, sleep is very important in their development; growth hormones can be released during sleep for kids. Sleep deprivation can contribute to obesity, diabetes and heart disease. So always remember to sleep well and enjoy you rest time.

• Exercise regularly. You hear it every time that exercise is very vital in our modern lifestyle and it might sound boring but it is true. There are many benefits if you exercise. You will have a stronger immune system, increased relaxation plus you get better sleep and a better mood. Muscle strength and definition plus improved overall complexion are just the few other benefits of exercise.

• Be aware of your eating and drinking habits. Always monitor the size, quantity and type of food that you will take daily. Eat more vegetables, fruits and grains and it is better to steam or grill your foods. It will prevent from destroying the natural minerals and vitamins of the food compared to fried foods. Avoid foods and beverages with high calories and high sugar content. It also recommended to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water per day to clear out the toxic waste from your body.
